Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Brabant Flamand Belgium.
Is a world wide recognized company active in the food industry and is specialised in the production of premium chocolates. Their chocolates are famous for their unique recipes and high quality. Employing more than 5000 employees, this company produces and markets a broad range of indulgent products in an effort to build a great brand.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In this role you will be responsible for the leading and development of systems and process control methodology to drive conitnuous improvement in the factory. You will be the responsible person for innovation within R&D for capability assessment and product commercialization. You will work together with the engineering department and R&D to define production capability gaps and to propose technology enhancements and equipment improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be responsible for the assessment of capabilities and the defining of gaps
- You will be responsible for engineering technology enhancements
- You will assist in the installation, testing and operational qualification of equipment and machinery
- You will be the production representative at NPD sessions
- You will be working in close collaboration with R&D
- You will be monitoring the fact that no production can start without having passed all the stages with a postive advise
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc or MSc in Engineering or Chemistry or Food Sciences
- 5-10 years of experience in engineering in the food industry and/or FMCG industry
- Demonstrated experience in project management
- Preferably knowledge of confectionery production
- Proven analytical skills and proffesionalism
