For our Client, a multinational production company from chemical industry located in Lower Silesia region, we are seeking to recruit an ambitious and experienced talent to join its team of professionals as a Process Development Specialist.
The role will be located at R&D Laboratory in WrocĹ‚aw. The person on this position will be mainly accountable for exploring and developing new or existing chemical processes by offering new solutions. Reporting directly to R&D Team Leader he/she will have to perform syntheses of polyols required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products. The role is located at R&D Department but it is strongly connected with supporting manufacturing operations with new product scale-up, new processes, optimizing existing processes and quality issues and supporting implementation of approved ideas – locally, and in other locations. What is more, Process Development Specialist will be accountable for identifying opportunities and threats for intellectual property protection for all new developments and process improvements.
To be successful in this role you should have at least 2 years of experience on a similar position within laboratory environment (R&D laboratory would be advantage) and a very good knowledge of chemistry proved by at least Bachelor degree studies (PhD degree would be a huge asset). A good candidate would have an experience in organic synthesis and chemical engineering and would be proficient in using Microsoft Office (chemical databases and other software, e.g. ASPEN would be advantage) . He/ she should be also prepared to work with and handle hazardous chemicals on a regular basis. Due to international environment he/she should communicate in English very well. Our Client is seeking a succes-oriented person who is passionate about his/her job and able to work under pressure. Capability to work independently, as well as in a team is also required. The perfect candidate should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
