THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical organization, based in Belgium.

The client is a biopharmaceutical company in the West of Belgium that carries out clinical research for their own antibody therapeutics.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The role is a Postdoc position for at least two years and until the trial is finished, at a Swiss based hospital. The product is in multiple I/II clinical phases in hematological indications. The client is looking for a motivated postdoc with extensive knowledge in the field of hemato-oncology.

The candidate will be based in Switzerland and reports to the director of translational medicine back in Belgium.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate's responsibilities are preclinical AML via in-/ex-vivo models and translational and biomarker assays. You will carry out patient and animal model sample processes such as colony formation, xenograft assays and gene methylation, gene transcription, FACS and fluorescence microscopy.
You will participate in project teams, organise and prioritize your own work.

REQUIREMENTS

-PhD in oncology, immunology or stem cell research,
-Clinical/industry experience is preferred,
-Experienced in ex vivo colonies and in vivo xenograft studies
- AML pathology knowledge is a pre
-Fluent in English; knowledge of German and/or Dutch is a pre.
-Excellent communicative and reporting skills are required.
