THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
For a middle-sized family company in the food industry, I am currently looking for a Plant Manager for a Plant of +/- 80 employees.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The plant manager is responsible for the entire production location. The plant has several production lines where the chararecterics products of the company are being made. The productionlocations runs in 5 shifts. The shiftleaders directly report to the Plant Manager. The plant manager is also responsible for retaining quality and (food) safety, also with maintenance and engineering. The plant manager works closely together with supply chain manager.
The plant manager directly reports to the ceo of the family owned company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Motivating & coaching
-Directly reporting to the ceo
-Responsible for entire production, including quality, engineering & maintenance
-Creating safe & healthy working environment
-In lead of the consultation of regular base with mt to improve (production) processes
-Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager
REQUIREMENTS
-Experience with similar position, such as production manager or operations manager
-Minimum bachelor degree food technology or other similar studies
-Experience in the food industry is required
-6-10 years of experience in production-environment
