THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Agriculture organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
Our client is an independent research organisation advising clients on the cultivation of plants. Main clientbase includes nurseries and occasionally breeding companies.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In the role as plant doctor you will be asked to research certain plants of the clients which aren't performing well. This may be either due to a disease/virus or cultivation circumstances. Therefore the role requires several activities: lab work, field trials, drafting reports and advising the client on possible solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining contact with clients and keeping them updated on processes;
- Collaborating with R&D team while doing research;
- Executing the research and drafting reports.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least an agricultural/horticultural BSc with at least 1 year experience;
- Knowledge of common diseases/viruses and crop protection;
- Speak the English language, Dutch is preferred.
