PHP Developer/Designer
Location: Warsaw

who will be working in project teams which design, develop and maintain software solutions build on top of web open-source technologies for our global Customers.

Key responsibilities include:
• Analyzing, designing, developing, reviewing and testing of custom applications
• Interacting with customers: extracting requirements, work planning, effort estimating, carrying project related communication
• Dealing with project managers, solution architects, technical leaders or work requestors providing necessary information and deliverables.
• This position may require occasional travel within EU countries.

We require:
• University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) or a final-year student.
• Proven experience in programming and designing web applications in PHP 5 technologies including good understanding of a standard application development cycle and methodologies.
• Good knowledge of Zend Framework
• Good knowledge of SQL language (SQL:1999 or newer) with a hands-on experience of at least open-source (eg. MySQL, PostgreSQL) RDBMS solution.
• Basic knowledge of general Web Servers concepts (eg. Apache, IIS)
• Hands-on familiarity with UNIX/LINUX systems.
• Well-developed analytical thinking abilities and creative approach to problem solving
• Good communication skills, including knowledge of written and spoken English
• Fast learning and self-reliant attitude
• Good teamwork abilities and collaborative approach to people.
We appreciate:
• Knowledge of any other PHP state-of-the-art development framework (eg. Code Igniter)
• Knowledge of PECL, PEAR and standard APIs, libraries and extensions
• Knowledge of template concepts (eg. Smarty)
• Knowledge of UML notation.
• Knowledge of other scripting languages eg. Ruby, Perl, Python etc.
• Knowledge of client side programming technologies (JS, CSS, HTML5, JQuery etc.)
• Travel availability
• Previous experience of work in an international multi-customer environment
• Communicative knowledge of other main European languages (German, French, Italian)
