ROLE DESCRIPTION
In this role you will be a packaging engineer with the desire to develop his/her skills in offering packaging solutions. In this role you wil be involved in the development of new packaging components and solutions on different manufacturing sites. You will be working across the companies' complete portfolio of products. The team you will be active in is very driven and motivated to deliver on different packaging development projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for maintaining and expanding the companies technical expertise in packaging engineering
- You will also be responsible for researching and evaluating new and existing packaging technologies, f.e. different packaging materials
- Providing technical leadership focusing on development of new ideas
- Provide new ideas and present recommendations for optimizing new packaging lines
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor in Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience as a packaging engineer in an FMCG environment
- Well developed communicational and leadership skills
- Fluent in English and at least basic in Dutch
