ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will be functioning as a managing packaging engineer, who will be involved in developing new packaging solutions and components at internal manufacturing sites and external manufacturing sites. You will work across the complete range of products produced by the company. You will have a global impact working in a team that is driven to deliver on multiple packaging development projects simultaneously.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining and expanding knowledge in packaging engineering and technology
- Research and evaluate new and existing packaging materials
- Provide technical leadership in a cross-functional team
- Evaluate and develop recommendations for packaging components
- Function in the team for global value management projects across the complete portfolio of products
- Support the packaging developers in the qualification looking at packaging specifications and global legislations
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor in (Packaging) Engineering
- Well develop knowledge of the application of packaging engineering principles
- Well developed problem solving abilities
- Developed knowledge in consumer product packaging development
- Ability to handle and manage low to medium complexity projects without supervision
- Strong planning and organisational skills
