ROLE DESCRIPTION
This specific role is an exciting opportunity for a Packaging Engineer with a great drive to develop and expand their knowledge of and capability with a highly diversified range of packaging solutions in a motivated and ambitious team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take complete ownership of the whole trade selling unit packaging development and the creation of production recipes, taking into account material selection, BOMs, specifications and instructions.
- Co-working with an overseas RD&E team.
- Assist and support manufacturing in production line qualifications.
- Initiate process changes and improvements, acting as a R&D lead.
- Generate information documents on compliancy and certification if required.
REQUIREMENTS
- BA Science or Engineering such as Packaging, Industrial Design and Materials.
- 2-5 years of experience as a packaging engineer.
- As a Packaging Engineer you are familiar with material analysis and specific component design.
- You are strongly motivated and result driven with a hands-on mentality.
- You have a natural ability to juggle several projects at once and prioritize accordingly.
- You act as an informed decision maker and problem solver.
- Legally, you are eligible to work in The Netherlands.
