Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.
Is leading in packaging based solutions focused on the development and manufacturing of bag-in-box, pouch packaging, and packaging components like fitments and connectors. The company's focus on o.a. value-added performance packaging helps its customers getting the ability to provide products to a vast range of global markets in natural and safe environment.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the company is quickly growing you will be responsible as a packaging engineer communicating closely with clients to improve the packaging product quality and optimise the production lines. You will play a major part in developing and validating our products at different clients to subsequently work together with R&D and Quality Engineers to improve the overall packaging service. You will be closely working together in a team where you are autonomous and expected to make a lot of ad hoc decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will analyse and understand our products at our clients' production sites
- You will advise and optimise the application of films, boxes, fitments and equipment at our clients
- Maintain knowledge of new developments in flexible plastic packaging and
- You will provide training to clients and internal employees in different packaging solutions
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor in (Packaging) Engineering or Food Science
- 1-3 years of experience in the packaging or food industry
- Understanding of food manufacturing and packaging engineering
- Knowledge of different plastic packaging materials
- Good communicative skills to closely work together with different departments in stakeholder management
- Fluent in English
