THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Waals-Brabant Belgium.
Due to growth of the production, one of my clients, who are working with fresh products, are currently looking for an hands-on Operations Manager who can bring the production processes and the team to an higher level.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the operations manager you're responsible for the entire production process, engineering and maintenance department and quality. The company has been growing quick over the last years and the volume has been growing strong. This brings in new production lines and an expansion of the production. Because of the fast growth the last months the production needs structure and efficiency within the production processes to keep the quality standards high.
In this role you are responsible for the implementation of the new production lines, the expansion of the production and streamlining the production processes. You will work closely together with your team, consisting of the Production Manager, Technical Manager and Quality Manager, to make sure the products and their quality standards meet the company standards. Therefor I'm looking for an hands-on manager who has a proven-record in change management and the implementation of new productionlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Implementation and expansion of production
-Directly reporting to the CEO
-Working closely with your team, consisting of the Technical Manager, Quality Manager and Production Manager
-Improve efficiency and streamline production
-Implementation of the company's strategy
REQUIREMENTS
-Minimum bachelor degree in Engineering
-At least 5 years of experience in Operations Management
-+10 years of experience in the Food Industry
-Proven record of implementation of production lines
-Hands-on mentality
