THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.
For a rapidly growing organisation I'm currently looking for an experienced Operation Director who will oversee 3 plants and will get these to the next level in terms of efficiency and process improvements.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the Operations Director you will be responsible for managing the overall production locations including P&L responsibilities.
With your leadership experience you will be able to directly lead the Plant Managers as well as the Technical and Quality department.
In this role you will be translating the strategy and vision of the board to the operational level for the various sites. It is therefore important that you posses strong analytical skills combined with strong communication capabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- P&L responsibilities
- Directly managing the Plant Managers
- Set up HR policy as well as training and coaching the team
- Increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Translate the vision of the board to an operational level
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 5 -10 years of relevant experience in the food industry
- Degree in Food technology, Engineering or similar
- MBA is advantageous
- Experience with fresh produce (meat, vegetables, dairy
- Proven track record cost experience and/or efficiency increase
