Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Netherlands.
For a middle-sized multinational in the Food Industry I'm currently looking for an experienced Operations Director with international experience in the Food Industry. The company is a player with multiple plants world-wide and in this role you have European responsibility.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
For this role I'm looking for an experienced and ambitious operations professional who has +10 years of manufacturing experience. Next to running the production and making sure the processes run as efficient as possible, the Operations Director has an high focus on cost reduction, troubleshooting and reorganisation of the European organisation.
As Operations Director you have the overall responsibility and work closely with the project director, but also marketing and R&D. You have strong communication skills, know how to charm and how you can create synergy between the different plants, but also between the different departments. In this role you have a leading role when it comes to production and innovation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Overall responsibility over the production & manufacturing
-Reorganisation of the European organisation
-Create synergy between the different plants
-Create alignment between production, marketing and R&D
-Improve efficiency
-Achieve proven record of cost reduction
REQUIREMENTS
-You have a bachelor degree in the Life Sciences
-Proven record in Continuous Improvement: improvement of cost reduction and efficiency
- +7 years of experience in the Food Industry
-International experience
-Fluent in English
-Experience in Project Management and Manufacturing
