Operations Change Management Platform/Program Expert


Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project activities and ensuring delivery of multiple assigned projects crosses several business lines. Assigned projects may be general or systems related in nature.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver Business Benefits

o Identify benefits to be achieved and how they will be measured

o Ensure procedures within the project to monitor achievement of business benefits

  • Engage Stakeholders

o Agree roles and responsibilities of all parties with key stakeholders and define them in the project charter

o Navigate existing functional management lines to establish clear accountability

o Ensure decisions are made by the correct functional roles

  • Scope Management

o Identify the project scope that will provide maximum net benefit to the organization

o Establish processes to monitor and adjust scope in a controlled manner

o Agree and implement changes to scope in a controlled manner

  • Project Planning and Delivery using Tollgate Blueprint methodology

o Agree on an integrated project plan with Customers & Partners which will deliver the project’s objectives

o Create a detailed integrated project plan for the stage in the project, establish necessary documentation and processes for work and schedule, and monitor progress against the integrated project plan

o Manage delivery of project through different Tollgate stages, including resource planning and budget management

o Manage Resource and Demand management using estimates and allocations within Clarity

  • Team Mobilization

o Identify the types and number of resources required to achieve the project objectives

o Identify the team and infrastructure required and where these resources can be obtained

o Establish processes to maximize team performance and mobilize resources

  • Risk Management

o Identify the broad areas of risk for the project

o Embody key risks in the project charter, and establish process to identify, analyze, and mitigate risks

o Reassess the risks and the established processes that identify and mitigate risks before they impact the project

o Escalate risks through the appropriate functional management

  •  Continuous Improvement

o Participate and contribute within the Solutions Delivery team on continuous improvement of the Tollgate processes, for efficiency and effectiveness of project management.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to build lasting relationships, motivate teams, resolve conflicts and deliver against expectations;
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree, with 3-5 years related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills;
  • Advanced knowledge and working experience of project management;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, managers and subject matter experts;
  • Fluent English is required; knowledge of other European language will be an advantage;
  • Good technical knowledge and skills in general and proven working knowledge of MS Office Suite;
  • Capable of meeting deadlines and problem solving in highly pressured situations;
  • Excellent time management and personal organization skills;
  • Be a team player in a global team, with the ability to act independently but collaboratively in virtual project teams;
  • Highly organized, multi-tasking and good attention to detail.
