Network Transformation Engineer
Miejsce pracy: BydgoszczThe key purpose of the role is to design the details of logical and physical transformation of the PSTN/Access Network, build the migration capabilities and support the project execution.
A key responsibility of the role is the validation of the solution design, creation of the detailed design documentation and requirements for migration tools customization, verification of the migration process and finally be first technical level support during execution of the migration project.
Responsibilities:
- Support of the solution design (support for Solution Architect)
- Own detailed design of PSTN transformations for both physical and logical aspects
- Write specifications for migration tools
- Contributes in the test and validation campaign and sets the acceptance criteria required by the project or account teams
- Initiate improvement initiatives for tool suite capabilities and processes, which includes roadmap contribution and evolution
- Contributing role in FOA (First Office Application in Field)
- First level support for project delivery personnel during project execution Key Performance Indicators
Requirements:
- Good understanding of PSTN – preferred systems: EWSD, S12, AXE 10 – min. 5 years of experience
- Experienced in the design, build, integrate or operate of PSTN networks
- Experience of working in a virtual team environment
- Track record of working in a telecommunications service delivery
- Experienced in the support of suppliers on a global basis
- Telecommunications and/or IT network migration experience
- Good understanding of network migration testing procedures
- Experience of service provider and enterprise operational structures and processes
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with external and internal team
- Ability to perform to a consistently high level under pressure
