THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Germany.

As a niche player in the savoury and aroma industry, my client operates throughout Europe creating sophisticated taste bases of cooked meat, fish or vegetables. They are currently looking for a National Key Account Manager Savoury to expand their presence in the German market.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The National Key Account Manager will be required to develop relationships and partnerships with key customers, acting as a consultant and solution provider helping them become successful by assisting and influencing the companys products to their needs resulting in revenue and profit generation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop rapport with food service senior leadership, buyers, and key end-user customers
Prospecting for and closing new business and managing growth with existing customers
Participate in monthly forecasting and planning to support operational efficiency
Monitor weekly/monthly sales and profit results; compile customer business reporting as required
Prioritize activities to balance customer and internal time requirements
Determine go-to-market strategies for the companys products in support of key customer initiatives

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in food/beverage technology or nutritional science
The ideal candidate will have a strong Aroma & Savoury experience selling to the Food & Beverages industry
At least 2 years of experience in selling to and managing national or large regional accounts.
Proven success in team environment is essential
Fluent German & English and any additional language is a plus
