ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Molecular Research Manager, you will lead your own molecular research team in the development of markers for marker assisted breeding. You will manage research project from start to end: a good understanding of biotechnology techniques and data analysis is required. Moreover, all data should be communicated to the breeding department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analysis of plant genetic traits and development of markers
- Team lead (4 members) and reporting to Head of Molecular Research
- Establish good collaboration with breeding department and other stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS
- PhD in Plant Molecular Biology or related area
- At least 4 years of experience
- Fluency in English. Dutch is preferable
