Our client is a professional Agriculture organization, based in Netherlands.
Our client is an innovative breeding company, specialized in creating seeds for protected crops.
For our client I'm looking for an interim molecular plant geneticist. My client is well known and offers a permanent position afterwards.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will be responsible for the implementation of diagnostic molecular merker assays in a laboratory which can be set up by yourself. You analyse the monsters using PCR techniques including High Resolution Melting, Taqman, Kasp, CAPS merkers and Simple Sequence Repeat merkers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be coordinating the activities in the laboratory and design the laboratory.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Molecular Biology or Plant Breeding with a strong molecular-genetic profile;
- Experience with SNP merker design and analysis methods;
- Precision work
