THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Medical Devices organization, based in Rhône France.
Medical Device company with several affiliates in Europe. The company has a broad product portfolio of mainly class II b devices. The list is broad: implants, electromechanical, sterile devices....
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Microbiologist will perform activities related to sterilization, cleaning validation and environmental monitoring.
Location: Rhône, France
Starting date: ASAP
Duration: (flexible) expected until mid 2018. If applicant prefers a shorter contract, this could be arranged.
Recruitment process: 1 phone call interview (45 minutes)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, plan and execute projects for cleaning, disinfection and/or sterilization of medical devices
- Product verification and validation under microbiology principles
- Environmental monitoring
- Design, execution, data summary, interpretation, and report preparation /review
REQUIREMENTS
- At least a Bachelor degree in a scientific or technical field (Microbiology or microbiology engineering is preferred)
- + 5 years of experience as Microbiologist in the pharma or Medical device industry
- Good working knowledge of QSR, FDA / ISO guidelines is preferred.
- Fluent in French and English
