Master Data Management Associate
Key Accountabilities:
- Performs vendor account maintenance such as additions, and changes.
- Processes new vendor set ups and changes, ensuring that, where appropriate, regulatory and compliance documents are secured from the vendor prior to issuing payments. This would also include securing and verifying any banking information changes.
- The use of 3rd party systems, such as credit reporting agencies, may be necessary for any or all of the verifications necessary.
- Contract review will also be necessary to ensure full compliance and to QVC terms and conditions.
- Continual maintenance review of vendor accounts to ensure inactive vendor accounts are blocked for posting.
- Maintains authorization chain tables in designated systems.
- Ability to comprehend complex information and systems as well as inter-related accounting processes.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt when, due to business demands, deadlines and priorities change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail a must.
- Strong personal computer skills, prior experience with Excel a plus.
- Bachelor Degree – Accounting/Business/Mathematics/Statistics/Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable, Inventory or related Finance area.
