THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.

This client is a giant, acting in the global sweets industry. Continuously growing, they are looking for a Marketing Director who can spot opportunities and seize them when they appear. You will be looking out for global trends, thinking internationally and increasing the impact of the business. For this, you have profound Marketing and Communication experience.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

You want to be responsible for the best marketing campagne in the industry. You're high engagement, high performance and you expect the same from your team. This means you have the know-how to get projects going and the communicative skills to convince your peers of their importance. You translate business strategy and theory to practice. For this, you travel across the globe a third of your time and judge the situation on the ground. You like the international aspect and are understanding of the differences between markets. As you will not be working with end products, B2B knowledge is crucial. However, you need to be able to translate this to the B2C needs of your clients.


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategy development and execution on a global to local level
• Communication of said strategy to stakeholders
• Value proposition based on benefits
• Innovating the product lines to match the local needs
• Keeping sustainability in mind
• Price risk management

REQUIREMENTS

• Master's degree or higher
• Minimum of 12-15 years relevant work experience
• Experience in Food or FMCG
• B2B experience is necessary
• Ability to change perception, innovate, communicate
• Fluent English, other languages are a plus
• Willing to travel internationally up to 30% of your time
