Marketing Analyst- Campaign Analyst

The Marketing Analyst will report to the regional Marketing Manager. You will be responsible for working with all levels of management, including but not limited to Directors, and Managers in a reporting and analytics role to optimize the business impact of our Customer Lifecycle Marketing organization. You will take a direct role in the compilation and presentation of data for the purposes of program measurement and optimization.

What You'll Do:
  • Partner closely with the Customer Lifecycle Marketing Team and Marketing Operations to develop measurement plans in support of CLM pilot programs, tests and various initiatives.
  • Lead analyses and optimization efforts to guide decision-making with regards to marketing channel/tactic and messaging; deliver key learnings to enhance key Marketing stakeholder’s understanding of customer behavior
  • Compile and synthesize data from disparate data sources such as corporate data warehouse, CRM system (Salesforce.com) and marketing automation tool (Eloqua)
  • Develop tools and techniques to measure campaign effectiveness across CLM campaigns, and present findings/recommendations to leadership and drive optimization efforts for better outcome
  • In conjunction with Marketing stakeholders, develop and implement campaign test & learn plans across multiple marketing campaigns
  • Create ongoing reports and analyses to evaluate performance of various marketing campaigns (direct mail, email, digital, etc.)
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses by partnering with other team members to understand lift in business results as a result of marketing activities
  • Present findings/recommendations and lead discussions with senior leadership at the department or functional level

About You:
  • 4+ years of professional experience in Business Analytic with a focus in marketing analytics or database marketing
  • Curious, always eager to understand business trends better - you like to investigate business problems and trends
  • A good understanding of which data matters when presenting to management
  • A clear view on your role; the results you present matter and as such you triple check your findings
  • Experience designing, developing and scripting reports & dashboards in MS Excel
  • Ability to act as an internal consultant, working with management to successfully design, develop and deliver reports & dashboards
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively while also ensuring accuracy of work through attention to detail
  • Must be results driven, and take appropriate steps to achieve goals while taking ownership of situations as needed
  • Expert level proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Proficient with SQL is required
  • Experience with extracting data via SalesForce.com and setting up Machine learning processes (in Python’s Scikit-learn library) is preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge and understanding of business terms related to sales, marketing, technology, and finance is preferred
