German group and market leader operating in the textile industry is looking for the Managing Director to take a full responsibility for its Polish subsidiary located nearby Łódź.

For our Client, an international German group and market leader operating in the textile industry acting on apparel, leather, automotive markets we are currently looking for the Managing Director to its Polish subsidiary located nearby Łódź. Chosen candidate will be fully responsible for team management as well as all the country business activities including sales, finance and logistic directly reporting to the Regional Managing Director South-West Europe and Africa.
Description
- Site management and strategy development and deployment for the local entity
- Manage and develop the existing team to meet the annual budget in all the sales, financial and logistic aspects.
- Elaborate the sales plan in coordination with the Regional Director and head office.
- Propose and execute commercial actions together with his sales team, targeted to finding new key accounts, new business niches and maintaining the existing ones.
- Develop relationships with the most important customers of the company
- Restructure and adjust the processes in place, in order to ensure the best service and maximum profitability of the business in Poland (continuous improvements)
- Matrix reporting line to the Regional Managing Director South-West Europe and Africa and to the head office Germany
Profile
- Academic degree in Economics or Engineering
- A leader with a min. of 5 years of proved experience in management of sales organisations or business units.
- Proven experience in B2B technical sales most preferable gained in industrial, textile and fabric branches.
- Customer oriented.
- Open to work with new technologies.
- Well self-organised and with a high degree of responsibility and honesty.
- Very good English skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Target oriented team player
