Manpower is global recruitment agency which mainly specialize in permament and temporary jobs, that has its offices in 82 countries. Currently, for one of its clients we are looking for a candidates on a following position:

Logistics Manager

Responsibilites:


• Business development role in the area of Logistics
• Organizing the storage and distribution of goods which often involves complex IT and telecommunications systems
• Developing business by gaining new contracts, analysing logistical problems and producing new solutions
• Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods;
• Coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information systems;
• Analysing data to monitor performance and plan improvements and demand;
• Allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs;
• Liaising and negotiating with customers and suppliers;
• Working closely with Country Manager
• Awareness of and strategic response to external influences, such as legislation, fuel costs and environmental pressures.
• Follow up leads from other Company’ sales colleagues
• Be the face and voice of Company’s whilst provide outstanding customer service
• Engage in self development to maintain and improve knowledge of the Company’s system

Requirements:



• University Degree -preferably in logistics

• Minimum 2 years Experience in the Logistics department as a Manager/Co-ordinator

• Ability to speak in English fluently is required

• Willingness to gain knowledge about logistics procedures and being a Head of Logistics Department

• Professional attitude, organised and demonstrating a real "can do" attitude with a constant focus on the team and customers expectations and their needs

• Naturally self-motivation
