Opis stanowiska pracy
For our Client an international group specialized in production of components applied in machinery industries, we are searching for:
LOGISTICS MANAGER
Scope of responsibilities:
- Managing Logistics Department that is including customer service and warehousing (ca. 25 persons).
- Providing material planning and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
- Preparing master schedules and plans across production lines and the plant.
- Identifying and introducing improvements of logistics operations to support and achieve the best production results and savings within supervised area.
- Cooperating closely with Production, Sales and Purchasing Departments in order to ensure proper flow of daily activities or/and to resolve appeared obstacles.
- Monitoring key indicators within supervised area such as missed production, packaging/raw materials shortage and finished goods inventory shortage.
- Supervising customer service and ensuring on time delivery and conformity of the clients’ order.
- Cooperating with suppliers in terms of procurement management.
- Supervising warehouse.
- Monitoring production runs and inventory levels (by customer and SKU) to ensure optimal safety stock.
- Preparing logistics processes for new product launches.
- Providing reports regarding achieved results and KPIs.
- Reporting to Operations Manager.
Wymagania
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience within logistics area achieved in automotive or/and metal-processing production companies (as a definite asset with medium and small batch production).
- Familiarity with production planning, procurement, customer service, warehouse and transport management.
- Fluent English.
- Experience in new product launches.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
- Strong negotiation skills to reach a win-win situation.
