On behalf of our Client, a US company that delivers complete hybrid IT solutions, from cloud to mainframe, tailored to each client’s journey, we are looking for Candidates for the position of Linux Engineer.
Your new role
You’ll be supporting and maintaining high availability enterprise client infrastructures and you will be responsible for proactive improvement to client infrastructures. What’s more, you will be resolving complex technical incidents and problems escalated by other internal departments, reviewing system performance and identifying, recommending and implementing corrective actions. You will be attending Client service reviews to provide technical support and presence and you will be mentoring and developing of junior staff and less experienced engineers.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you should have a deep understanding of server and network infrastructure architecture, good understanding of Internet technology and services (particularly Apache), good knowledge of TCP/IP and understanding of security issues and ability to read and define firewall rules and load balance configurations is beneficial. Fluency in English is required.
