For our Client, a company providing technical solutions for its clients worldwide, we are currently looking for Legal Manager.
The purpose of this role is to take full responsibility for managing the team and running operations within the Legal Department. That will require in-depth market research to find and implement a variety of digital and non-digital solutions and procedures. The aim is to create space for excellence, openness, and effectiveness among the team. Our Client is looking for an open-minded partner with a can-do-attitude that will support the company’s business units in daily operations and influence the growth of the business by ensuring the legal safety for the entire Group.

The purpose of this role is to take full responsibility for managing the team and running operations within the Legal Department. Our Client is looking for an open-minded partner with a can-do-attitude that will support the company’s business units in daily operations and influence the growth of the business by ensuring the legal safety for the entire Group.
Responsibilities:
- Create a long-term strategy for the Legal Department and translate it into short-term projects and tasks
- Optimize and smoothen a daily work of Legal Department by implementing automation and digitalization processes
- Effectively manage the in-house team of Lawyers by coordinating operations, budgets and employment plans, delegating tasks, managing the team’s calendar, supporting the team’s skills development and encouraging knowledge sharing attitude
- Ensure the effectiveness of commissioned projects completion by contracting and coordinating the work of the best in fields: lawyers, industry specialists and external law firms
- Prepare, review and negotiate contracts and other commercial documents in all aspects of the company’s business activity
- Prepare and review legal opinions, terms of service, corporate documents and other documents required for the company’s activity
- Coordinate legal supervision over the company’s compliance with applicable laws, including data protection, Intellectual Property, and corporate affairs
- Coordinate legal control over the processes of implementing new products, services, and business solutions
- Ensure the consistency of contract terms with the company’s templates, policies, and goals
- Monitor legal regulations and compliance requirements applicable to the company’s business activity
Requirements:
- A degree in law and five years’ experience in the field of law
- At least two years’ experience of managing the Legal team in the fast-paced environment
- Experience in managing legal processes and coordinating cooperation with the external law firms
- Experience in conducting automation, digitalization and work optimization processes would be a strong asset
- Knowledge and expertise in relation to labor law, copyright laws, industrial property laws, data protection laws, commercial and corporate law, and providing services via electronic means
- Experience of working in in an international environment
- Excellent written and spoken English skills (experience in working with this language)
- An independent and responsible approach to all undertaken tasks
- A mind focused on achieving fast results even in unprecedented and dynamic situations
- The ability to act effectively in situations where not enough information is given, or data is presented in a way that could be interpreted in more ways than one
- The ability to manage risky tasks and stress with success
- Good knowledge of current technology trends : Jira, Confluence, eDokumenty (will be an asset)
