Your new role
As a Lead Java Developer you’ll join international IT team, and will work on GAI 2.0 project. GAI is a functionally rich critical component in the Group Finance accounting process that takes raw transaction data from source systems and ensures accounting integrity. It drives the data towards SAP Group GL and provides all the accounting data for CDW. GAI 2.0 Initiative is to replace the existing GAI based on mainframe with new technology solution based on Hadoop, Weblogic Java and Oracle DB. You will be in the role model and lead Java developer and you will be driving team's development decisions in key technical areas. Moreover, you will be ensuring best possible development roadmap, future proof designs. You will be supporting less experienced developers with guidance and supporting agile practices. Finally, you will be ensuring technical documentation is maintained and consistent.
What you'll need to succeed
As an ideal Candidate you should have an experience with Java EE expertise (7-8 years or experience with Java/Spring), architecture knowledge and Linux expertise. Moreover, knowledge of WebLogic, DevOps Version handling and deployment tools (Maven). All work is conducted in English therefore fluency in English is required.
