For our Client, an international number one home appliances Producer, we are currently searching for a passionate laboratory Professional, who will join its matrix structure at the position of Laboratory Leader dedicated to global R&D Centre’s branch office based in Wroclaw.
Being a part of global R&D Team located in Wroclaw, the person on this position will be mainly responsible for coordinating Refrigeration Laboratory Operations (Thermal, Structural, Controls/Electronics, Safety/Codes), taking care of both day-to-day activities and strategic objectives. Therefore she/he will be in charge of assisting, planning and coordinating lab testing activities executed by Laboratory Technicians. What is more, she/he will cooperate with design teams in order to anticipate future demand, create a plan and ensure laboratory capabilities. The Lab Leader will work with Lab Manager to improve overall Laboratory quality and productivity, as well as Maintenance Program. Therefore her/his range of obligations will include improving Lab facilities, driving 5S and Laboratory infrastructure improvements as well. The person on this position will have to ensure and build competencies and succession pipeline, as well as move the Laboratory and Team to a new level of performance. On a daily basis she/he will also ensure Employees’ safety.
To apply for this position you need to have several years of laboratory operation and product development experience gained preferably in home appliance industry. What is more, Laboratory Leader should also have previous experience in the range of people management. Our Client is searching for a person who will be able to work in global engineering team environment, in cooperation with customers located in other countries. Therefore she/he should demonstrate flexibility in adapting to quickly changing business tasks and priorities, as well as very good business communication skills, also in English language. Good problem solving skills are also required (Six Sigma, Black Belt and/or Lean Expert experience is desired). Moreover, the person on this position should have leadership competencies as well.
