THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Agriculture organization, based in Netherlands.
The client is a service laboratory specialized in breeding and multiplication, with a focus on tissue culture and plant analysis. The organization is a market leader in tissue culture and is looking to expand their team with Labmanager Tissue Culture.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As labmanager, you are responsible for the daily running of the laboratory making sure all lab employees have all necessary resources to fulfil their tasks. Knowledge of tissue culture techniques, the ability to correctly process plant materials and selecting the right nutrients for the plants are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning and organisation in the laboratory
- Processing of plant material in the laboratory
- Managing the department in an efficient way and giving clear instructions to the team
- Leader, inspirator and motivator for the team (14 scientists)
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum HBO
- Experience with managing a team
- Experience with planning and organisation, tissue culture experience is preferred
- Fluent in English, Dutch is preferred
