Integration Support Engineer
Location: KrakowYou will join global IT team in Global Banking & Markets (GBM) which is the "investment bank" for HSBC. Our businesses generate millions of transactions across a range of financial markets. Our IT teams design and develop modern systems covering all aspects - trading in the markets, sales and customer tools, handling transactions and building financial and regulatory reporting.
The team:
The team HTDE IT EAI Services at HSBC is at application level responsible for the operation and continuous development of an IBM Message broker installation for Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and an IBM Datastage installation for Extract Transform Load applications (ETL).
The systems are used to implement business processes spanning different inhouse applications and also third party providers and regulatory authorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor tickets automatically created for both systems in the case of incidents using the ticket system theGuard
- Analyse and - as much as possible - solve tickets using error logging mechanisms, operating documentation, standard and tailored error handling tools, source code analytics
- Dispatch tickets to be solved by other teams, keeping the coordinating role as a ticket owner in case an incident requires the joined effort of several teams
- Dispatch tickets to 3nd Level Support
- Communicate incidents to specialist fields (business) and third party providers
- Initiate change requests for repeating incidents to improve the robustness of the platform
- Monitor the e-mail inbox of the team
- Provide special KPI for the incident process of the team
SKILLS
MUST
IBM Integration tools (Integration Bus V10, Websphere MQ, Data Stage)
Unix (administration, bash)
SQL (admin, reporting)
NICE TO HAVE
Basic Java skills
ITIL knowledge and experience with ticketing systems(ServiceNow, Tivoli etc)
Communicative German
