Description
- Ensuring the operation of supplies, dispatches of finished goods, storage and flows of raw materials,
- Lead supplier related logistics activities - negotiations of delivery terms and conditions, supplier delivery performance monitoring
- Implements change and/or develops new processes as required to provide ability to better direct ship multiple products to multiple locations
- Ensuring all legal requirements (tax stamps, material flows, storage)
- Achieving stock accuracy targets
- Ensure proper skills development within area of responsibilities
- Leading and engaging to develop the direct team in line with leadership expectations
- Providing feedback, and holding managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their teams
- Manage department budget: meets goals while staying within budget requirement, ensures cost optimization
- The Logistics Manager is accountable to ensure continuous improvement of logistics processes and work organization and provide cost-effectiveness in order to increase the Company's achievements. He or she will contribute to ensuring the required level of product quality, will build safe workplace culture, as a coach to embed lean culture within the organization.
Profile
The ideal candidate is likely to possess a university degree and has minimum three years' experience as a manager in a manufacturing environment with practiced working knowledge of logistics processes, a solid knowledge of logistics flows, storage and procurment processes, ability to work in a lean approach and practical ability to prepare and monitor the budget. We are looking for a Manager who demonstrate growth mindset, focused on searching for improvements, non-standard solutions with coaching skills to deliver trough people, communication, team development, performance management skills and demonstrable strong people and business leadership. The ability to manage the project is needed as well as the ability to build strong positive relationships are key requirements.
