THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Germany.

A global leader in the Ingredients sector based in Bayern, is undergoing serious growth in the DACH market and is looking to expand their team by hiring an expereinced Key Account Manager for their Dairy business unit. This role will allow you to develop your experience working across a broad portfolio of ingredients and flavours by liaising by liaising with your customer base.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

If you are from the Ingredients or Flavours industry with regional or international experience in the Dairy industry and want to work in a market leading innovation centre, this is a perfect opportunity for a tenacious individual that is looking for a new challenge. Reporting to the Head of Sales Europe you will be primarily responsible on working with DACH Accounts for their Key customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identifying new sales opportunities with existing accounts to develop new flavours and products for the targeted audience.
- Managing briefs through production and launch whilst playing a pivotal role in negotiating pricing agreements in line with expectations.
- Maintaining frequent contact with the relevant point of contact and working with key stakeholders in the decision making process.
- You will be interacting with technologists, participating in the manufacturing of specific flavours working towards targeted briefs.
- Managing large commercial pipelines through the implementation and execution of brand strategies, co-ordinating key information with the
Regional Account Managers

REQUIREMENTS

Experience in the Food Ingredients or Flavours industry is essential to this role
Ideally you will be degree educated, either in Business/Finance or Food Science/Technology
Bilingual; you will speak both German and English to a strong business level any other European Language is a plus
You will have experience across the Dairy sector or perhaps the Savoury sector selling functional ingredients, dairy powders (milk, butter, cheese variants), stocks, sauces, boillions, gravies or flavours across the applications.
Competitive by nature, you will possess excellent commercial acumen and will be a perpetual learner
You will operate at a sophisticated level across numerous internal and external stakeholders and will be able to demonstrate key achievements throughout your career
