Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Utrecht Netherlands.
The company is a leading player in the food ingredients industry and has a wide portfolio of products for both private label and A-brands. The company's products are used throughout the food industry.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Junior Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for all QA-related issues on the site. You will develop, implement and follow up QA policy and lead a team of 2 QA employees. You will report to the Operations Manager on the site. This is an ideal role for junior QA candidates who want to make a second or third step in their career.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute and implement Quality Assurance and HSE policy, and advise on trends and issues.
- Plan, support and conduct regular audits, and follow up on action points resulting from these.
- Supervise and conduct analyses, complaint handling and deviations.
- Participate in R&D projects, managing specifications of raw materials.
- Give trainings and coach 2 QA employees.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Food Technology, Analytical Chemistry, or similar.
- At least 2 years of experience with Quality Assurance in the food industry.
- Experience with HACCP, BRC and AIB.
- Leadership experience is an asset.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
