Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.
This company discovers, develops and produces new innovative human therapeutics that improve the life expectancy of humanity.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The supply chain manager will be responsible for the management of reliable short, medium an long term supply plans to ensure an optimal stock position. You will also be responsible for the reliability, stability of the supply to the markets and to improve the responsiveness in terms of the lead times. Finally, you are accountable for minimising risks and costs.
This is a temporary role (6 months) with the possibility to extend.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage short, medium and long term planning activities
- Ensure appropriate communication with stakeholders
- Manage supply chain stability and identify causes of deviations
- Ensure timely completion of planning cycles
- conducting scenario analysis to support decision making
- Collaborate and communicate with different sites to ensure timely supply
- Monitor KPI's and define corrective and preventive actions
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN)
- Determine targets for optimal production balances for all production lines
- Review Standard Operating Procedures and ensure compliance
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
- Fluent in English and Dutch, both oral and written communication
- 2 – 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations
- End-to-end Supply Chain Planning experience
- Experience working in an international organisation
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Customer focused
Preferred Requirements:
- SAP / ERP / Rapid Response experience
- Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing tools (Lean / JIT / 6 Sigma / Design For Manufacturing / SPC / Rapid Tool Setting / FMEA / RCA)
- Experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated industry
