IT Technician / Junior Embedded Tester
Lokalizacja: WarsawFor our Client - leading supplier of IT solutions to the public transport sector - we are looking for a IT Technician / Junior Embedded Tester.
We are looking for candidates with strong technical background in hardware and network configuration who are interested in IT development as a Tester.
IT Technician / Junior Embedded Tester will focus on confuguration and tests of hardware componentents to provide best service and functionalities of Client's solution.
If you are not afraid of soldering iron, and like to solve complicated hardware/netowrk issues - WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!
Project duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
Main duties:
- Being a part of a brand new and groundbreaking mobile application for public transport
- High degree of independence on architecture, technologies and tools used within the project
- Hardware and network configuration as well as implementation of new components
- Cooperation with team of designers to help you continuously improve the developed product
- Design Test Cases and use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function
- Participate in troubleshooting of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
- Document, track and escalate issues
- Requirements analysis and effort estimation
Our perfect candidate have:
- Strong technical and design skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Hardware and network configuration experience
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux (administration)
- Knowledge of Android (User perspective)
- Passion and interest in ensuring quality of what the team delivers
- Engineer's degree in Computer Science / Mechatronics or equivalent experience
- Basic experience with version control system and bug reporting tools (like JIRA)
- Good communication verbally and written English
Our Client would also see as valuable skills as putted below:
- Basic knowledge of SQL and WebServices
- Experience in testing on different projects
- ISTQB - foundation level
