What will you make with IBM?
Mainframe Operator is the single point of contact for all IT Infrastructure operational activities. Mainframe Operator acts as a 1st level support agent who observes and monitor systems then reacts on issues related to system basing on priority and severity. First level IT Specialist cooperates with 2nd level support teams to ensure fast recovery of systems.

Job responsibilities:
- Perform system monitoring functions
- Lead escalation path
- Execute procedures and cooperate with team members
- Ensure that all tickets are logged and assigned according to the account's procedures
- Keep all SLA/SLO on proper level, maintain customer satisfaction
- Handle and assist second level teams with problem determination
- Monitor ticket queues
- Identify knowledge management gaps and drive closure
Requirements:
- Basic IT literacy and willingness to learn
- High communication skills, customer attitude
- Responsiveness and flexibility, Teamwork skills, High motivation, Learning skills
- 24/7 shift environment (including nights, weekends and holidays)
- General computer science or engineering knowledge acquired through university education and/or experience
Nice to have, but not obligatory:
- Practice in mainframe monitoring
- Know how of: ISPF, JCL, SDSF, REXX
- Knowledge in one of the following subsystems: MVS, JES2, TWS, SA/Netview or GDPS, SMS
