Description

Currently, we are looking for an IT Project Manager who will carry out a project for our Client - one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world, providing a comprehensive range of financial services to around 60 million customers.

You will be a part of global projects from the Commercial Banking (CMB) business. As the Project Manager you will be responsible for the end to end delivery of the implementation of software. You will be working with a large number of different stakeholders, understanding their needs, managing their expectations, providing with regular feedback etc.

Your usual day will include the following responsibilities:

  • Preparing and maintaining project plans
  • Managing and mitigating risks
  • Preparing effort, schedule and resource estimates
  • Tracking project budget
  • Regularly reporting on project status –progress reports, RAG statuses
  • Preparing and working according to a stakeholder management strategy to perform effective stakeholder management
  • Working with virtual teams in various locations
  • Coordinating cooperation between groups such as Business Analysts, Architects, Developers etc.

Requirements

In the Project Management role you should be able to demonstrate:

  • Examples of successful end to end delivery of projects - on time and on budget
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Experience in working with remote teams
  • Capable to work on daily basis in English
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently, under pressure and proactively in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines
  • Positive, proactive and can-do attitude
  • Prior working experience of commercial banking will be an advantage but not a must
  • Knowledge of SDLC/Agile methodology will be taken as advantage
