For our Client, international company located in Katowice, we are currently looking for IT Engineer to join IT department.
Your new role
Holding this position you will be responsible for:
- Server and storage array infrastructure administration: Maintenance, configuration, infrastructure monitoring, virtualization management, updates, incident analysis and troubleshooting
- Administration of LAN/WAN/WLAN/SAN network infrastructure: configuration, monitoring, incident analysis, problems solving
- Manage backups
- Database administration: local server and database administration, backup administration, HA management
- Analysis of current tickets and resolution of incidents and problems related to infrastructure
- Monitoring availability and performance of all elements of the IT infrastructure
- Technical support for business users (locally and remotely)
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful candidate you should have:
- around 3 years of experience on the position of IT Administrator/IT Specialist/ IT Engineer
- English language on professional working proficiency both spoken and written (B2)
- Higher education in IT (including bachelor's degree)
- Thorough knowledge of IT issues and knowledge of current hardware and software solutions
- Knowledge of issues related to the administration of IT systems
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP and networks design at the CCNA level
- Very good knowledge of Windows Server 2016
- Knowledge of Active Directory at the level of local OU administration, defining GPO and GPP policies
- Ability to configure a virtual environment based on Hyper-V in the cluster environment.
- Experience in configuring and running virtualization platforms
- Ability to configure Cisco, FortiNet network devices, including WLAN controllers and AccessPoints
