On behalf of our Client, leading global financial organization located in Krakow, we are currently looking for Candidates interested in IT Data Analyst/Data Modeler.
Your new role
As IT Data Analyst/Data Modeler you will be responsible for performing data analysis of key problem areas to assist in root cause analysis. (wrong data types, formats, corruptions etc.). You will research and collect data in order to support product development and analysis. Duties will also include escalating data issues which need process re-engineering, extracting, importing, and exporting data in various database applications - ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) as well as auditing data on regular basis to ensure data integrity and data quality. Moreover, you will assist with ongoing data architecture processes and governance, maintenance, back up and security of business data as well as provide training as necessary on data operational activities.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful Candidate you must have 3-5 years of relevant experience in data analysis/data modelling. You must have interest in database languages like MS SQL, Teradata, DB2 and in Big Data Concept. Also, you should have knowledge of connections of tables, data lineage (in a case of two warehouses) and data modelling - logical/physical as well as very good knowledge of Excel knowledge. Moreover, you must have good analytical and communication skills and be strongly motivated to learn and constantly improve processes and tools. Due to work in international environment you must have fluent knowledge of English language.
