THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Netherlands.
My client is a renowed name in the Dutch food industr and is currently looking for a Senior Industrial Automation Engineer on interim basis to further support and solidify the company during the start of the first three months of the upcoming calendar year 2016.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In this role as Senior Industrial Automation Engineer you will be responsible for improving and optimizing our current packaging and production lines. The production involves seasonal sensitive products. As Senior Engineer you will work with the overlaying MES-system and underlaying PLC's and SCADA's with the ultimate goal to reduce SCADA-related errors at the operating lines. It is important that the Senior Industrial Automation Engineer is capable of working with both bottom-up and top-down principles on this operational level to ensure optimal optimization.
This is a project for three months starting at January 2016.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As Senior Industrial Automation Engineer you will have the following responsibilities:
- Adjusting and optimizing MES-integrated activities in regards to existing packaging lines.
- Optimizing PLC's (total of 19 Siemens S7 PLC's).
- Troubleshooting at integrated SCADA systems.
- Optimizing SCADA-systems with ultimate goal to be errorless at operating lines.
REQUIREMENTS
- Immediate availability.
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 6+ years of experience in the industrial automation industry.
- Experience in the food industry in high care environments.
