Webanywhere was founded in 2003 as a learning technology company providing solutions to the education sector. Our clients are over 3000 schools across the world as well as well known international brands such as Texas Instruments, Jetblue, Twitter, Medtronic and Apollo Global. We are the first official Moodle Partner in Poland, implementing e-learning solutions and open-source systems. Since 2011 we have been cooperating with IT specialists from Poland. In April 2012 we opened an office in Katowice where we now employ 70+ staff.
Currently we are seeking an enthusiastic individual with excellent command of English who is focused on customer care, to held the Incident Manager role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and resolve low to high priority incidents
- Act as an escalation point for resolution of ongoing incidents
- Provide regular and relevant updates to all stakeholders covering external customers, internal management, vendors and technical teams
- Work in partnership with other groups, including project teams, Sales/account managers, and developers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
- Identify issues and risks associated with the current process and present solutions
- Design and update processes and support best practices to achieve company and department goals
- Review major service failures and produce major incident reports and improvement plans
- Provide scheduled and ad-hoc incident/SLA reports
- Deal with and resolve complaints
Requirements
- Experience in incident management and incident resolution
- Very strong customer service and excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent command of spoken and written English (technical and formal)
- Good general IT knowledge
- Excellent problem solving skills and analytical thinking
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Impeccable telephone manner
- Willingness to learn new skills and technologies
Desirable skills
- Previous LMS (Learning Management System) experience as Moodle/Totara
- LAMP stack experience/knowledge
- ITIL certification
- IT security experience/knowledge
