For our Client, outstanding international company, leader in its sector, we are looking for the person on the position of HR Director Poland.
The person on this position will be responsible for building and implementing the HR policy in accordance to business strategy, working closely with the Country Manager Poland, the Senior Leadership Team and the Regional HR VP. The key accountabilities of this role will include: providing Human Resource leadership and support to the polish team in the areas of performance management, recruitment, employee relations, training, compensation, benefits administration and organisational development, as well working closely with the HR Managers and teams in the International business and more specifically the Eastern European Team to build a strong regional HR team.
HR Director will be responsible for: creating short, medium & long-term Poland Employees plans that are comprehensive, pragmatic and effective at meeting business goals and targets; managing the transactional HR services for Poland (HR admin, payroll, recruitment and vetting); driving the standardisation of HR processes, outline key SLA to internal customers; leading the implementation of a new HR Systems and the appropriate tools and processes; providing a generalist HR support service throughout Poland to the Country Manager and various people managers and employees as required, including but not limited to employee relations, recruitment, induction, learning & development; driving company’s approach to Performance Management, in particular working with managers to implement performance appraisals, talent management processes and compensation process; coaching management teams and their members in people management skills to enable them to continuously improve their performance, managing the day-to-day HR issues ensuring service excellence and full legal compliance; providing advice and guidance to local managers where appropriate and support local processes as required, conducting the necessary due diligence for future acquisitions and then assist with the integration with the existing company business; provide confidential support for employees within the country who require advice on employment rights changes to terms and conditions and grievance matters, to facilitate and consistent change management.
The Head of HR will have three direct reports in Poland, Soft HR, Payroll and Office Administration. Team includes 8 people in total. Indirect: Centres of Expertise International – Communications, L&D, Reward.
We require relevant experience on HR role in international organisation, with matrix reporting line; experience in Polish employment law and employee relations, including contracts of employment, managing absence and managing terminations, experience of managing a salary review progress and involvement in the design and implementation of bonus plans; experience of managing the people in aspects of acquisitions, from due diligence, bringing new team members on board and planning and implementing the integration strategy, experience of creating training and developments plans, talent management and succession planning within a service business environment.
The person on HR Director position should have fluent English – written and verbal, excellent project management skills, ability to work within a multi-cultural environment and with/through all levels of the organisation, problem solving skills, relationship management skills, business acumen, strong influencing skills and the ability to constructively challenge senior leaders, strategic thinking and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
