What you will be doing?
- Welcoming candidates into the business, providing relevant and timely information relating to their on-boarding plan
- Provision of relevant business (Company, Division, Project) information, working closely with the line manager and Operations department
- Key point of contact for both the employee and the business and maintain proactive communication to ensure they are kept informed throughout the process
- Assisting employees with completion of forms and tracking document returns e.g. pre-employment screening, security, contracts, medical, benefits etc.
- Provision of support for pre-employment screening and security processes i.e. making sure documentation is completed in a timely manner, supporting with questions, liaising with on-boarding admin team and/or the Security department
- Providing other ad-hoc support as required such as VISA applications or relocation assistance
- Proactive management of the start date, working closely with the on-boarding admin team to ensure start dates are in line with agreed timescales and are achievable, for example, managing delays with pre-employment screening or security clearance
- Provide support to the line manager and IT department with selecting appropriate IT options including relevant networks for the office location and equipment required for their role
- Proactive communication to ensure employee is engaged before joining, provision of additional information in relation to induction, their joining plan, or relevant business updates
- Following employment, checking in with new joiners to ensure that they are engaged and comfortable, for example, they understand their role, they have been allocated a career manager (if required), they know where to find processes and policies etc.
- Opportunity for new joiner to raise any concerns and provide feedback on the on-boarding experience to ensure continuous improvement activities
