For our Client, one of the oldest financial institutions,we are searching for skilled individual that is willing to develop within young and growing Hedge Fund Accounting department as an Assistant Manager.
Your new role
You will be operationally responsible for Accountants, Senior Accountants and Supervisors ensuring the correct Net Asset Values calculations within the team as well as taking responsibility for all reporting and control requirements. Reviewing financial statements, client reports, budget and expense analysis are among other responsibilities.
Assistant Manager ensures that all staff receives adequate training and acts as a coach/mentor for new team members, ensures that the team has a clear development plan and development actions are met, records and monitors attendance and carries our performance reviews in conjunction with Hedge Fund Senior Manager.
What you'll need to succeed
At least 4 years of work experience in the funds administration business or similar industry as well as fluency in English is essential. The perfect candidate has a knowledge of accounting requirements for a wide range of financial instruments accompanied by knowledge of InvestOne, Bloomberg, Excel, Reuters or Custody. To become an Assistant Manager one needs to have previous experience of managing, supervising and developing others.
