We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Hedge Fund Accounting Team Supervisor
Location: Krakow
Key Accountabilities:
- Supervise the daily accounting process
- Supervise the daily position and P&L reconciliation review
- Assist in preparation of Dealing Date NAV packs
- Opportunity to work with complex financial instruments
- Assist in semi-annual & annual audits
- Provide excellent client service
- Assist team development
- During the course of normal day to day operation, responsible for identifying any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and must report and/or escalate in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines detailed in relevant operating procedures
- Individuals typically supervise 8 employees.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or equivalent work experience with a focus in the related field preferred
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CPA qualified or part qualified an advantage
- 2-4 years of related experience including previous experience in managing a staff
- Excellent English
- Team player
- Eager to develop itself and others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on your own initiative, develop solutions and provide an input which enable to make the effective decisions
- Strong analytical skills combined with IT Literate
