THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Biotechnology organization, based in Thüringen Germany.
The company is a multinational biotech and pharma company centered in Germany.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In this role you will take responsibility for the national R&D activity regarding process development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take care of budget and timeline of R&D projects
- 5 direct reports, responsibility for up to 40 employees
- Planning, conception and coordination of research activities and process characterization (clinical phase I - III)
- Building network of customers and planning of proposals for B2B customers
- Strategic planning and coordination of R&D activities
REQUIREMENTS
- Willing to work at two locations
- MSc in Engineering (biotechnology, bioprocessing, ..) - PhD ist a plus
- Knowledge about production of recombinant proteins (bacteria)
- Knowledge in microbiology, upstream- and downstream processing
- Fluent English and German
- Proven track of record in leading a team
