POSITION
CLEARANCE ENGINEER - PROCESS & METHODS ENGINEER
-As part of a team in charge of the Strategic and Tactical development planning and analysis of Europe Clearance Operations, this excellent communicator and strongly analytical individual will be supporting the analysis, development and implementation of clearance operational processes in EE countries (conversion into Direct Served) starting with Romania, going forward with other EE countries inc. Russia clearance operations including plans and programs with road network, air network, European gateways and systems to achieve optimum synergies from the customs clearance operations.
- Supervise the information control that supports the achievement of regulatory compliance, service and customer experience capabilities, providing cost reductions, limit financial exposure, and support revenue retention and growth.
- Coordinating with multi-functional teams, you will oversee the development of Operating scenarios and procedures, be responsible of Business Case development for necessary approval and support for the implementation of projects and initiatives.
- You will give and receive support to and from senior professionals in the local team or elsewhere.
PROFILE
- Master Degree or professional qualification engineering (civil, industrial, commercial) or quantitative discipline ispreferred
- Very good command of English (= working languages)
- Other languages knowledge is preferred (RU PL CZ RO HU)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of using relevant project management tools, PM certification is preferred
- Excellent standard of numeracy / able to manipulate data and present in meaningful format
- Creative thinker with the ability to recognize improvement opportunities.
- Good planning, organizing and problem solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of analytical concepts and engineering tools.
- Able to work effectively with different cultures and nationalities.
- Able to work independently (low supervision)
- Experience of using relevant engineering software tools (Excel, Access, ...) to translate business needs intocomputerized simulations
- Regular travel is Europe required.
