Group HR Director
The position will be based in one of company's plants in Poland which are located in małopolskie and ślaskie .
Client Details
Our client is an international manufacturing company being a leader within their sector in Poland . The Polish subsidiary is currently undergoing through a many business improvement process which will required to appoint strategic business partner HR Director to support local management team and act as change agent in a process of business integration in Poland and at the same time will positively influence employees engagements. The successful candidate, as a Group HR Director for Poland, will be expected to provide strategic and operational input at local level and cooperate level within the group.
Description
- Take responsibility for management of HR function in Poland and prepare strategic and operational plan for its development (3 Plants)
- Be a senior business partner for local management team (operations, sales, supply chain) and support them in applying company policies, ensuring alignment to company's business targets, rules and law aspects
- Support the company in the process on merge, integration, organizational development
- Gain excellent knowledge on company's business process, analyze current structure of employment and its effectiveness and prepare recommendations
- Coordinate internal communication, build relationship and cooperate with local trade unions
- Conduct internal and external recruitment activities as required by business needs, advising on sourcing strategy, job posting, selection of final candidates, job offer and on-boarding
- Cooperate with Regional HQ and Regional HR Director and guarantee compliance of the HR practices in all local structures
- Analyze HR procedures and process and suggest improvements
- Recruit, develop and train local human resources team
Profile
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business or Management
- 8-10 years of experience in leading an HR function with international environment
- Business acumen, capable of directing change management initiatives
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish immediately the necessary credibility through all the levels of the organization to influence and coach other senior managers
- Profound knowledge of specificity of manufacturing companies is a must
- Good understanding of key business drivers and manufacturing and logistic processes
- Success track record in preparation and operational implementation of HR strategies and policies
- Profound knowledge of labor law, experience in blue collars and flexible work staff employment and management is mandatory, experienced in cooperation with trade unions
- Sound knowledge of best practices in HR business partnering (ie. training and development, assessments and planning, employer branding , compensations and benefits, budgeting / P&L account managment)
- Target-driven with can-do attitude and holistic view
- Fluency in English and Polish is a must
