Our client, a leading international company based in Warsaw is currently looking for an experienced Global Procurement Expert in direct categories.
As Global Procurement Expert you will be responsible for support the Global Category Leadership to deliver the category strategy (direct materials, freight & logistics) base on company procurement target. You will be responsible for managing supplier’s performance and business partnering with internal customers. You will identify opportunities with suppliers to gain a competitive advantage and deliver added value to both parties. Will have possibility to create and implement plan to achieve this.
The role will suit an procurement expert with the work experience in the procurement, ideally including category management on regional / global level, with responsibility for category strategy implementation without the merit on many markets. Necessary with experience in managing stakeholders across the globe within the matrix organization, and with data management / spend analytics. You need to have ability to work on multiple projects and Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) with the ability to present information in a clear and concise format to all levels within the organization. Alongside this you need to have ability to engage fast with the stakeholders on different level in the organization and effective influencing skills. English is a must.
